New media has allowed marketing to take on many new shapes and forms over the years and one new method is to create interactive games that incorporate advertising content or training information. The game is the vehicle to drive the message home.
In this tutorial I’ll show you how I worked with an interactive firm to create the visual assets needed so they could produce a simple Flash driven golf game for their clients marketing needs.

thanks for doing these tutorials. i can’t tell you how much i’ve learned from seeing your process, so i thought i’d try and give back a little.
im not sure if you still tape your drawing to another piece of paper to get it to scan straight, but if so, there is an easier way:
1* draw a straight horizontal line under your drawing (somewhere that will be in the scan but not interfere with your artwork)
2* scan it in to photoshop, don’t worry about its rotation
3 * use the ruler tool in photoshop (under the eyedropper) and trace the horizontal line in the scan
4 * go to Image > Rotate Canvas > Arbitrary … a dialog comes up with a number, just hit enter and it should straighten the whole thing out
