Your assignment is to draw each of the four listed items below using only shapes and form. (No line or tonal shading) Pay attention to the negative space you are creating, try to capitalize on that and make it work with your shapes, this is the tricky part but if done well you can define just as much content with what you draw as you can by what you don’t draw.

Note: These exercises were developed for a class setting but can easily work for the individual. If you use this for a group of people make sure to share everyones work at the end, it fun to see how everyone interpreted the same themes and is usually good for a few laughs as well.
